pHisoderm for dry, sensitive skin!

If you have dry or sensitive skin and can't find a cleanser that works for you or that doesn't irratate your skin this is the solution for you. While I was at Ulta shopping with my mom, she found this amazing cleanser for dry sensitive skin like mine so I bought it, tried it out at home, and I love it. I've used it quite a few times so far and it already helps so much. My skin doesn't have as much irratated red spots like it did before from other harsh cleansers. I think it was about $4.99 at my local Ulta. So far my favorite most gentle cleanser i've ever used!

Neutrogena mineral sheers foundation!

Everytime I buy a new liquid foundation I get excited hoping it will actually work, but then I become very disappointed with the results! I have very dry skin, so usually even when I exfoliate and moisturize my face and let it soak in for awhile, right once I put my foundation on, my face looks very flaky! Then, shopping at Ulta, I found this Neutrogena mineral sheers spf 20 foundation! I tested it out at ulta and I loved it. I hadn't moisturized since that morning and when I put it on it looked flawless. No streaks, no flakes, didn't look cakey. And its spf 20 so it protects your skin at the same time! Its $12.99 at my Ulta in Illinois. It is more on the expensive side for a drugstore brand but sometimes you just have to pay more for better!

The best way to apply it is to NOT use the brush to blend. You twist the top half of the container until foundation comes out through the brush, dab it on your face where you'd like it, then with the brush move it around a little, but when you actually blend it, use your fingers or a clean foundation brush. If you use the brush on the foundation, it will just keep smearing it around instead of blending it in. And it says to NOT wash the brush with water. Use a damp or wet cleaning tissue or cleansing wipe and wipe it off.

I hope this was helpful to some of you who have the same problem I did!

Get the perfect pedicure at home!

EVERYONE deserves a nice pedicure every once in awhile. Here's a way to get the perfect pedicure right in your own house!

These tips and tricks for the perfect pedicure comes straight from a worker at Dashing Divas spa that has worked on many celebrities two being Ashley Tisdale and her sister! You will feel stress-free and relaxed once you have done this!

Stuff you will need:

Either a spa foot bath like the one in picture above[pbteen.com] or a big tub filled with warm to hot water, some olive oil[or baby oil or bath crystals or bath beads], nail clippers, nail file, body scrub, and foot cream.

1.clip and file your nails how you like them.
2. Dip feet into the warm or hot water with olive oil or whatever you choose to put in the water, as long as its something very moisturizing, and let your feet soak for about 1-2 minutes.
3. Take your feet out, pat them dry just a little, and use either your fingernails or orange woodstick and push your cuticles back if needed.
4. Take a body or sugar scrub[or make your own!] and rub it all over your feet for about a minute then put feet back into the water and let soak another 30 seconds to a minute.
5. Take feet out, and use a towel to completely dry your feet. Your feet should feel very smooth and moisturzed.
6. Use a foot cream or regular lotion to moisturize your feet even more to lock moisture in.

So there are some ideas to spoil yourself for a spa night! Enjoy =]

Best Mascaras in my opinion!

I have gone through several different types of mascaras[drugstore!] and these make it to my favorites.

Sexy Curves by Rimmel London is by far my favorite mascara! I have it in waterproof, because it is easier to take off, but it does come in waterproof. This mascara has rubbery bristles, which are perfect for definition and length! And, it is cheap for how good of quality it is! $7-8 drugstores.

Jordana mascara is a very cheap good quality mascara, in my top favorites. The bristles on this brush and this formula is made to add tons of volume for a dramatic effect on your lashes! Just a few dollars at local dollar stores/drugstores!

Rimmel Londons Lash Maxxx brush tip and formula give your lashes length and volume! And since the brush tip is very small and bendy, it adds more definition making it easier to get to each and every lash! $7.50 at local drugstores

Top products[in my opinion] so far!

I have had a great deal of products lately from face washes, moisturizers, lipglosses, hair products, and more and these made it to my favorites! Enjoy :)

My First is my e.l.f. luscious liquid lipstick in Pink Kiss. This lipgloss is only $1 on eyeslipsface.com or target! It has the perfect color, not too light, not too dark, and the perfect smell! If you like peppermint of course..

As I said in one of my last blogs, this is by far my favorite eyeliner! It's Jordanas Color Xtend Eyeliner. It is very cheap only $2 at drugstores and online and there are about 6 different beautiful colors, i have black out, which is a very dark black. This liner has never smudged on me and goes on very smoothly.

Onto eyebrow shapers! The brand I recently got was Trim, from Walmart for $3 If you hate the time and hassle tweezing takes these are perfect! If you want to know more about them and how to use them look at my eyebrows blog! :)

These Biore deep cleasing pore strips aren't new, but they work amazing! I have the nose & face strips and you can buy them at any local drugstore or online for just a couple bucks! To use...it's easy! Just use warm water on your nose or face to open pores and make the strips stick, then put the strip(s) on for 10 minutes and when you take them off you can tell they work by seeing the dirt that comes off of your face stuck to them!

this Nicole Miller Daytime Delivery Creme is PERFECT for dry or normal skin! I had to suffer very dry and flakey skin for the longest time,..no moisturizers or other cremes would work my nose would be dry within half an hour. Then, my mom bought this stuff for me and all I do is use it once a day and my face is glowing and moisturized for days! Also, this can be used for night too! You can buy this at melaleuca.com for $22.50 It is expensive but well worth it!

This Victorias Secret PINK exfoliating Sugar Scrub is my favorite of all time! it has a citrus-mint smell and uses gentle exfoliater to make your skin look fresh and moisturized all day long! You can now buy this for $5 at Victorias Secret or online.

This is my hair product MUST HAVE! This is Tresemme's straightening gel. If you have damaged, dry, or hard to straighten hair like me this is perfect for you it protects your hair from heat, moisturizes it AND keeps it straight! I think it was about $4 at Target it smells great and all you have to do is use half a dime sized amount, rub it together in your hands, and smooth it all over your wet hair and dry your hair and you'll be surprised at the difference it makes!

Nicole Miller hydrating fruit masque. This is my favorite mask I have ever bought. It reduces redness, hydrates and moisturizes the skin, and it can't hurt that it smells amazing! Go to melaleuca.com to find this amazing item.

Natural eye-makeup removers!

Olive oil is a cheap, natural and easy way to remove eye makeup! Just take a cotton pad or cotton ball or even a q-tip, dip it in olive oil and swipe once and your makeup is off =] it may take a few times to get all of your makeup off but it even works with waterproof products!

Baby oil is also a natural way to easily remove all of your eye makeup! Just use the same steps as told for olive oil and it works just the same!

So those are some natural easy and affordable ways to remove your eye makeup and they can also be used for much other things too! I've also heard that yogurt is good for removing makeup too! I think it's worth it. But, if you would like to purchase real makeup removing products, i recommend mary kays and neutrogenas! They both worked amazing. Hope this helps a few of you.!

Home-made Banana Facial Mask!

Banana face mask-in my top favorite of face masks!

Bananas are very good and cleansing to our bodies AND on our skin! Here are some ways to make a banana face mask to get clean, soft, smooth, glowing, and reduce redness on your face!

Recipe 1: Banana & egg mask
Ingredients:
half of a banana[mash it up with a fork]
eggwhite[make sure not to get the yolk, it could cause salmonella!]

What to do: As already stated, you need half of a banana and put it on a plate or in a small bowl and mash it all up with a fork. Then, mix the eggwhite into the mix and stir very well. [you may also add plain yogurt for even smoother skin.] Use either your fingers, or what i use, a cotton pad, dip it into the mixture, and rub it all over your face evenly. Leave on 5-10 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Then you should have clean, glowing, and smooth skin right away. =]

Recipe 2: Banana, honey, yogurt & sugar mask
Ingredients:
half of a banana, again smash it up.
1 table spoon honey
1 teaspoon yogurt
3 teaspoons sugar

What to do: Mix all of the ingredients up in a bowl or on a plate. use fingers or cotton pad to rub all over your face in a circular motion. The sugar will gently exfoliate and the banana, honey and yogurt will all clean and moisturize your face. Leave on for 5-10 minutes, rinse off with cool water.

So if you have dry skin, acne, or redness on your face this is the thing for you! If you try it tell me what you think about it, enjoy!
